Aretaon Asperrimus

I wanted to start saying that this species is my favorite, but actually, all the species I have are my favorite !!
Aretaons are small sticks. They are originated from Sabah. They're adults in about 5 months. The female grows up to about 8 cm, the male is a bit smaller.
They eat a big variety of leaves, but I mainly feed them Ivy.
They look kinda prickly, but are completely harmless. I find them very friendly, and they're not shy at all!
They are active during the night, as they are nocturnal animals, like most species of stick insects.
It's very funny to see that the male spends his whole adult life on the back of this girlfriend. She draggs him around the whole time, even while they are eating !

The OVA ( eggs ) are kinda large for such a small insect. They hatch in about 3-4 months.

Hatchlings!! Look how small they are, newborn Aretaons. They need to start eating and drinking soon after they hatched, or else they won't survive..
